Josef Martinez scored twice and FC Cincinnati scored no times as Atlanta United broke a two-game losing streak with a 2-0 road win against the worst team in the league.
The things that happened in the game that was played
Initially, this whole thing was just going to be some of the worst movie scenes of all-time. This game was that horrific to watch. Cincy had everyone behind the ball. Atlanta seemed happy to kick the ball back and forth slowly. It sucked.
But 59 minutes in The King got bored of that.

A Recap Thought: Let’s just get to the end of the season.
Josef is good. We know that.
Atlanta has trouble breaking down teams who bunker at times. We know that.
This team will 99% finish either second or third in the conference. We know that.
The final four games are not not important, but they’re also kind of not entirely important. This team will play to win and make sure it has a bit of swagger going into the playoffs, but everything is mostly in its place at this point.
Stay healthy. Pick up a few points. Get to the playoffs and do something special again.
Please. I’m not sure how much more regular season soccer I can take.

Brad Guzan had to work to make a couple of saves tonight. He has 14 clean sheets on the year. Why not. Brad, your check is in the mail.
