Atlanta United may have lost this weekend in a tough result to the Philadelphia Union, but we were treated to one of the best goals over the past three seasons. Josef Martinez and Darlington Nagbe combined brilliantly to extend the former’s streak with a goal in MLS to 13 straight.
This is one of the best goals in @ATLUTD history.

This goal is one of five nominated for the top goal this week in Major League Soccer. While it’s up against some stiff competition (including the goal that gave the Union the win over Atlanta), you know what to do. Vote, vote, vote.
Josef may have more awards and plaudits than he knows what to do with, this goal is just as much the work of Nagbe as it is his. The one-touch chipped pass, perfectly weighted over the Philly back line is other-worldly and something you’d usually see in the Spanish or English top flights. Don’t let these two’s unbelievable show of skill go unrewarded.
