Josef Martinez is the best, and seemingly every passing day, we get more and more confirmation of that fact. As such, check out this laid-back interview with ESPNFC in which Josef gets the piss taken out of him for his penalty kick hop, and bonds with Ale Moreno over their Venezuelan heritage.
The set is at Banc of California Stadium where (I believe) there is some pre-season media happening with top players and coaches from around the league.
But this is a great interview. It’s so cool to see Josef and Moreno (despite what one may think about his incessant trolling of Tottenham Hotspur *cough*cough) share their passion for Venezuela. Speaking of, for all we know at the moment, Josef is still declining call-ups to the national team after he released a statement in September. But since then, national team manager Rafael Dudamel left the federation for a job at Atletico Mineiro in Brazil. Judging by Josef’s response at the end of the video, we haven’t seen the last of Josef with La Vinotinto.
So many good moments in this interview though. What was your favorite part?
