Single-game tickets for the Birmingham Legion game on sale Tuesday

But multi-game tickets are already available

Mark Almond

For those of you planning to make the short trip to Birmingham for the February 8th preseason game against Atlanta United, the Legion has announced that single-game tickets will go on sale Tuesday, January 21st. Prices will range from $14 in the supporters’ section (my guess is the Magic City Brigade has all of those snapped up already) to $40 for the Coors Light Lounge. Or, if you’re feeling lavish, you could spring $100 for field-level seats. For a quick peek at the available seating, a stadium map is accessible here.

My recommendation: go for the $35 seats in the Good People deck. And no, that has nothing to do with the moral compass of our beloved DSS readers, but rather with the quality of the beer at the deck, which comes from the excellent Good People Brewery just a few blocks away.

Parking is also a cinch: street-level parking is immediately across the street from the stadium and covered parking just a block away. It can be pre-purchased using the Clutch mobile app.

However, if you want to beat the crowd, tickets are already on sale as part of a multi-game pack. For $60 you can get this game plus your choice of two of the Legion’s first three regular season games. Those are the Charleston Battery (March 15), Miami FC (March 22) and Atlanta United 2 (April 18). None of those dates clash with Atlanta United games, and the Battery and 2s games are of interest to United fans.
