Atlanta United is now looking up at the red playoff line after Saturday’s results brought the Five Stripes down to eleventh place in the Eastern Conference. To make the jump back over into a playoff position, they’ll need to find a way past first place Toronto FC tonight at the Canadian club’s temporary home in Connecticut.

Toronto FC have shot up the table on the back of an eight game unbeaten run, six of which resulted in wins. This makes the Reds one of, if not the, most in form team in the league at the moment, not a great sign for an Atlanta team that recently escaped Inter Miami with a single point.

Lineup decisions will be a big thing to look for this evening. New signing Marcelino Moreno was left out of Wednesday’s match to recover from his debut, and Jurgen Damm received minutes off the bench, earning his third assist of the year. According to Stephen Glass, there’s even a chance that Ezequiel Barco could make an appearance (ha!).

We’ll just have to see for ourselves this evening, but first, go hop over to the match preview and lineup prediction, then reconvene in the match thread below come kickoff time as we watch everything unfold in Hartford.
