Toronto FC 1-0 Atlanta United: Post-match reaction

You rate, you react to Ezequiel Barco’s return in a tough loss.

MLS: Atlanta United FC at Toronto FC David Butler II-USA TODAY Sports

Sunday was a big night for Atlanta United’s playoff chances, but the Five Stripes fell just minutes short of walking away with a hard-fought point. Instead, it’s a fruitless loss that leaves Atlanta below the playoff line with just four games remaining. THe good news: Ezequiel Barco and Marcelino Moreno both featured for the duration of the second half, and look poised to contribute throughout the run-in.

Instead of giving you our player ratings, we what to know what you think. Below is a ratings form for you to fill out with how you rate each Atlanta United player’s performance. After a day/night of voting, we’ll tabulate the ratings and reveal them with the top rated player being named our site’s Man of the Match. Feel free to head down to the comments section and leave your thoughts on the match as a whole or give your detailed explanation of your ratings.

Here’s a mobile-friendly link to the ballot. The in-post ballot only works on desktop due to issues out of my control.

Also, my apologies for not having gotten these results out. Life has gotten hectic, so I’m just going to dump all the unpublished results here since I know we have folks who like to keep a tally of these. By the way, if you have any interesting findings from the community ratings over the years, get in touch and we can get you published here.
