In the latest Atlanta United 2 Report, we break down some of the standout performers for Atlanta United 2 from the chaotic 2020 season. Then in part 2, we are joined by Tony Annan to talk about the crazy year, including how he handled Jackson Conway after an extraordinary moment when the striker scored a golazo and was then subsequently red carded for taking off his shirt in excitement.

Overall, it was an exciting season for the 2s from a player development perspective, ironically thanks in large part to the coronavirus pandemic. The COVID-19 protocols meant the group had more cohesiveness as a unit throughout the abbreviated season, and Academy players as young as 15 years of age saw the field thanks to more playing time available without first team players dropping down a level to get minutes.
