After Miguel Almiron scored for Newcastle in their FA Cup match against West Bromwich Albion he celebrated with a half fusion to commemorate former teammate Josef Martinez. Josef had just done the other half a week ago after a goal against Motagua.

Miggy’s tribute comes just days after Josef tore his ACL against Nashville in Atlanta United’s opening match, showing love to his good friend from across the pond. The “fusion” celebration (from Dragon Ball Z) was first debuted in 2018, showcasing the power of the Martinez-Almiron combo which took MLS by storm in their two seasons together.

If you missed it earlier today Josef posted on his social media thanking both fans and clubs around the league for their heartfelt messages.
Sometimes sports are good y’all.
