Atlanta United has learned three more opponents for its 2020 schedule. MLS announced its plan for Phase Two of their return to play today. The Five Stripes will take on Inter Miami for the third time this season to start off on Saturday, September 19 (7:00 p.m. ET; FSSE) at home.

Three days later, Atlanta will host FC Dallas, their first matchup (7:00 p.m. ET; FSS) against a Western conference team this season. Finally, they’ll wrap up Phase Two with an away trip to Chicago Fire (7:30 p.m. ET; FSSE) on September 27, who are last in the Eastern conference on just eight points. All three opponents for Atlanta United during this phase currently sit outside of playoff spots.

Atlanta has not fared too well in Phase One with interim manager Stephen Glass, going just 1-2-2 in their first five matches, with one more against Nashville SC left to play. Their unflattering form leaves them teetering on the playoff line, in 8th place in the East.
