ATL UTD 2 (2-9-3, 9 points) vs. New York Red Bulls II (4-8-0, 12 points)
ATL UTD 2 is coming off a 2-1 loss in its last match vs. Tampa Bay Rowdies and looks to pick up a win in the final home regular season contest. Academy goalkeeper Vicente Reyes made his second start of the year in that match and made five saves. The average age for the starting XI that night was 20.0, the second youngest for ATL UTD 2 this year.
Tony Annan gave a shoutout to the group after the last game despite the loss, saying that young academy players are getting great experience at this level.
Week after week I am amazed by these young academy players who step in to the professional environment against veteran Professionals and compete! You have to play them to see where they are and how far they can stretch. @ATLUTD @atlutd2 @AcademyATLUTD @USLChampionship https://t.co/C5FncJU9lx

New York is looking to get back in the win column as well after a 3-1 defeat to Hartford last time out. The team is led offensively by Omar Sowe who has scored five goals on the year. Caden Clark has contributed a team-best five assists.
Atlanta is looking for its second win in the all-time series. ATL UTD 2’s victory came in the team’s inaugural USL match March 24, 2018. Since then, New York has collected three consecutive victories.
