A struggling Atlanta United faces off against FC Dallas for the first time this season. Atlanta’s struggles continued in its home loss on Satruday night against Inter Miami. It begs the question, can Atlanta turn it around and make the playoffs?

FC Dallas is currently on a three-game winning streak while Atlanta United are on a three-game losing streak.
Atlanta United manager Stephen Glass could really use an upset win tonight to continue to have hope and faith that Atlanta can make the playoffs this season. While the Five Stripes one point from a playoff spot, they’re also two points from dead last in the league. Glass will hope his team can figure out solutions on the field, or an ugly season will turn even worse.
My predicted Atlanta United XI vs. FC Dallas:

Defense:
Franco Escobar has not been performing like we are used to seeing him. He cannot continue to be rewarded with a starting spot. I much prefer Brooks Lennon as a right-back rather than an out wide as a forward. Atlanta can benefit from his pace in both defending and going forward.
Midfield:
I went with both Matheus Rossetto and Emerson Hyndman for more of an attack based midfield. This team struggles scoring goals, The midfield struggles to create chances, but maybe with Hyndman and Rossetto, they can move the ball forward easier.
Attack:
With Cubo Torres out for the forseeable future, it looks like Adam Jahn will be starting for the rest of the games unless the front office sign another striker. God help us. Barco did not play on Saturday due to a knock and was day to day. It looks like he trained all week, so it seems likely that he will start. If not, Jake Mulraney was a preferred option at the weekend. Jon Gallagher was by far the most impressive player for Atlanta Saturday night and needs to be given a chance once again.
