Decision Day was looking dreadful for Atlanta United against lowly FC Cincinnati, but one halftime tactical switch and a Josef Martinez golazo later, all seemed right with the world as the Five Stripes secured the three points and the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference. Sam Jones and Joe Patrick discussed the result and what it means for Atlanta going forward.
And there’s a lot more to come for patrons of the podcast as we all prepare for the most important moment of the season.
This week, FSF spoke with former Atlanta United captain and CURRENT MEDIA MEMBER Jeff Larentowicz to break down the recent results even more and give us some important insight into the team in its current moment. That episode is available for patrons here.
Coming up, we’ll be catching up with more national pundits (we can’t announce yet but you know who they are) to get their take on Atlanta and the upcoming match in Yankee Stadium against NYCFC.
This is all made possible because of y’all. We so, so appreciate how many of you have chipped in throughout the season that has allowed us to devote our resources toward bringing you the best shows possible. It’s a relatively small amount that goes a LONG way, and it makes the work so much more rewarding. Thank you.
