Details of the Concacaf Champions League Round of 16 schedule have been released.
As previously reported, Atlanta United will face off against LD Alajuelense in the opening round of the competition. Alajuelense will host the first leg in Costa Rica on April 6 at the Estadio Alejandro Morera Soto (nice name!). The return leg will be at the legendary Fifth Third Bank Stadium on April 13.

Kickoff for Atlanta’s away leg is scheduled for 8 p.m. EST. The Kennesaw leg kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. EST.
The quarter finals will be held in late-April and early-May and the semifinals in August and September. The single leg final is scheduled for October 26-28.
Atlanta’s league campaign will begin four days after the return leg on April 17.
Despite the club’s ambitions to win the competition, Atlanta has yet to make it past the quarterfinals. If Atlanta United pass its first round opponents, Atlanta could face Deportiva Saprissa or fellow MLS side Philadelphia Union in the quarterfinals.
