Atlanta United 2 has released its USL Championship schedule for the 2021 season.
The season will comprise of 32 matches that are evenly split between home and away games. Atlanta will compete in the Central Division with seven other teams and will play each Central Division opponent four times. The remaining four games will be played against non Central Division teams.
Atlanta’s Central Division opponents are Birmingham Legion FC, Indy Eleven, Louisville City FC, Memphis 901 FC, Sporting Kansas City II, OKC Energy FC and FC Tulsa.
The 2s open the USL Championship away to Louisville City FC on April 24. Atlanta United 2 will then play two consecutive home away games at Taft Stadium, home of OKC Energy FC. Atlanta will then play five consecutive home matches and will host FC Tulsa, Memphis 901 FC, Birmingham Legion FC, Sporting Kansas City and OKC Energy FC in that stretch.
The season is set to take place between April 24 and Oct. 30.

Atlanta United 2 will head into its 2021 campaign under a new head coach after former head coach Stephen Glass left Atlanta to coach Aberdeen FC in Scotland. In addition to coaching the 2s for two years, Glas also filled in as the interim head coach for the Atlanta United first team after Frank de Boer’s post MLS is Back Tournament departure.
