I'll tell you that the 2s have been an afterthought for me the first 4 years of our existence. They played right down the road from me the first year and I never thought to see them. But now Heinze keeps dropping first team players down for the experience and the results have been positive.
I can't help but believe allowing the subs to stay sharp in competition will help us down the road. Of course some developing players will lose some game time, but I am confident Tony Annan can identify those most likely to move up and make sure they develop. This feels more like what a farm system is supposed to be to me.
I will make sure to go see a match soon, I'll probably see some first teamers now.
