Atlanta United came away from Nashville with a 2-2 draw thanks to some heroics by Jackson Conway. They also came away with injuries to Mo Adams and Alex de John and a red card suspension looming for Jake Mulraney. At least one of those things is getting a happy bit of news today.
The team today announced that the red card issued to Mulraney was overturned.
In a shocking turn of events, the red card issued to Jake Mulraney has been rescinded.

Luckily, the card did not cost Atlanta United the game, but the decision certainly made it more difficult for the outcome of the match to swing Atlanta’s way.
Naturally, during the game there was much discussion about if it was a red or not. Some saying yes, while others did not agree with that at all.
I repeat, what in the hell?

No chance that’s even a foul. #ATLUTD
To make matters worse and more embarrassing for MLS and PRO, the call was also reviewed by VAR and the official watching on a screen did not see clear and obvious evidence to overturn something that eventually a committee at MLS did see... along with the best centerback in MLS history who also saw it.
