Last week, Atlanta United survived a chaotic Thursday night in Nashville with a severely depleted roster, earning a point and actually scoring some goals in the process.

Remarkably, things have gotten even more chaotic since.

With the Josef fiasco turning into a blazing inferno yesterday, fan emotion is higher than it has been in a while– and not in the positive way. Now, the Five Stripes return home to play the New England Revolution, the current frontrunners in the Eastern Conference, with a still barebones depth chart. Oh, and in front of a national audience, too. Things are gonna be interesting.

Before 5 P.M. rolls around, be sure to check out our match preview for a more in depth look at today's match, and the lineup prediction for a guess at Heinze's selection. Then, come back and join us in the match thread below for what I'm sure will be a very civil and coolheaded discussion of everything surrounding the action at the Benz.
