The Five Stripes are back in a quick midweek turnaround from a chaotic weekend for the organization. Just three days removed from the sacking of Gabriel Heinze, Atlanta United travels to Cincinnati, Ohio with interim head coach Rob Valentino at the helm in an attempt to bring an eight game winless run to a halt.
In an unfortunate piece of timing, Atlanta gets another nationally televised game during the recent upheaval, with this evening’s match shown on FS1 and FOX Deportes. On the optimist’s perspective, a rejuvenated squad that now features Josef Martinez once more has the chance to showcase themselves to a new boss or even earn a spiteful victory post-Heinze.
