Atlanta United’s great run of form — the “perfect week” according to head coach Gonzalo Pineda — has earned MLS Team of the Week honors for attacking midfielder Ezequiel Barco and left back George Bello.

These TOTW honors are perhaps due to the fact that both players are currently up for the league’s Goal of the Week honor, which you can vote on right here (poor Marcelino Moreno getting no credit for creating the goal for Bello).
Did someone say GOLAZOS???

Which strike should be #ATTGotW?
Barco has now been included in the Team of the Week (including the “bench”) for three consecutive weeks, marking his seventh inclusion of the season which leads all Atlanta United players. It’s Bello’s first Team of the Week of the season.
“I think in the last 10 or 11 games the team shown a complete change,” Barco said after Saturday’s 3-2 win over D.C. United. “You show it on the field, winning and with results. I think this team, if we keep playing this way, can compete for the league and that’s the goal. I don’t have any doubt that we’ll be fighting for everything.”
