There are three things that are certain in life: death, taxes, and an Atlanta United player winning a online poll. This time, it’s Brad Guzan, whose terrific save on the New York Red Bulls’ Bradley Wright-Phillips on Sunday evening won MLS’ Save of the Week. It’s Guzan’s second SOTW win; his first was a stop of Jonathan Spector during Atlanta’s 1-0 win away to Orlando City SC this summer.

Atlanta United players and coaches now have won fifteen fan voting awards this season. Tito Villalba and Miguel Almiron have won Goal of the Week three times each, with Kevin Kratz, Josef Martinez and Greg Garza taking the honors one time apiece. Just over a week ago, Tata Martino won MLS’ Best Dressed Coach of the Year.
Atlanta United fans have already shown that they are a force to be reckoned with throughout this season. They’ve done it again.
