Atlanta United and FOX Sports Regional Networks announced a multi-year TV deal for FOX Sports South and FOX Sports Southeast to broadcast the expansion club’s non-nationally televised matches this week. As part of the deal, FOX will produce a weekly TV show called Atlanta United: Match Week beginning in April. To kick off their coverage, FOX Sports Southeast will air a 30-minute preseason preview show tonight entitled Atlanta United: United and Conquer.
As the preview video above demonstrates, the show will give us behind the scenes access to interviews with Darren Eales and the players while getting supporters ready for the exciting season to come.
Less than a week ago fans were wondering if/when Atlanta United matches would be available for them to watch. Now we’re getting a preview show broadcast out to the entire Southeastern United States. This is pretty awesome and just goes to show you how big of a deal the club’s agreement with FOX Sports is and will be.
