Atlanta United has announced they have reached ticket sales of 69,256 which officially puts them in sole possession of the highest stand alone game in MLS history. This spot was previously held in a game dating back 21 years ago (4/13/1996) in the Rose Bowl where Los Angeles took on the MetroStars.

There are still around 2,000 tickets left to completely fill the stadium and push the record line. Atlanta will also be looking to break the MLS record for the highest average attendance numbers in a single season.
