Atlanta United is up for Goal of the week, again

Another week has passed in the MLS, and Atlanta United have another person up for GOTW, this time it’s Kevin Kratz

MLS: New England Revolution at Atlanta United FC Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports

After Greg Garza won GOTW last week, mostly because of Josef Martinez’s dummy, Atlanta is up for another one, this time it’s for Kevin Kratz. Kratz hit a wonderful free kick to put Atlanta up 5-0 against the Revolution, which also happened to be his first MLS goal.

If you want to do your part in helping him win, click here to vote. As of now Kratz has 44% of the votes in first, followed by Savarino at 20% and Danladi at 19%. Atlanta United fans have dominated these fan polls so far this year and I don’t expect anything less for Kratz’s wonder shot here. Voting ends on Wednesday and if you’re wild enough, you can vote once per hour.

Atlanta has already had five Goal of the week winners so far, with Almiron taking home two and Martinez/Garza/Villalba having one each. Having five winners in their first season alone is an amazing accomplishment by this team. Lets see if we can add one more to that list.
