Predicting Atlanta United’s lineup at LAFC

If it ain’t broke...

You may want to get a nap in today, because it’s another edition of #FiveStripesAfterDark as Atlanta United take on LAFC out west. Or, maybe not, because it’s Friday and you were staying up late anyway, right?

Here’s who I think will start for Atlanta United tonight against LAFC.

A couple notes...

  • I wasn’t planning to predict Brandon Vazquez in the lineup, even after he picked up what was apparently a slight knock in training this week. Pity Martinez definitely gained some stock after his brief (but effective) performance on Sunday after Vazquez left - I think de Boer makes the call to him tonight.
  • Where does that leave Ezequiel Barco? In an ideal world, he’s starting and going all 90 this evening. But he needs time to get match-fit after playing just one match for the club between his 90-minute spell at Sporting Kansas City on May 5 and today. At best, he’ll come on for the final 15-30 minutes tonight and starting on Saturday.

What are your thoughts? Let me know in the comments.
