Atlanta United 1-1 NYCFC: Rate and React

Your ratings and reactions to a gut punch result in Mercedes-Benz Stadium

MLS: New York City FC at Atlanta United FC Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports

Final Whistle Reaction

Atlanta United was so close — literally minutes away — from capping a perfect return from the recent international break with back-to-back wins. But ultimately a late free kick goal from NYCFC stole two points back and brought the teams level on the night.

It will be especially disappointing for Gonzalo Pineda and the team considering it was a generally impressive performance despite missing Josef Martinez from the starting lineup and Ezequiel Barco altogether due to suspension.

Instead of giving you our full player ratings now, we’ll get your reactions first. Below is a ratings form for you to fill out with how you rate each Atlanta United player’s performance. Feel free to head down to the comments section and leave your thoughts on the match as a whole or give your detailed explanation of your ratings. You can view the results by clicking to see previous responses after voting. Our ratings will be out shortly.
