Final Whistle Reaction

Instead of what was supposed to be a relatively routine win, Atlanta United fans got a dose of deja vu — dropping points in the waning moments after failing to capitalize on a dominant performance.

Atlanta United created 2.59 expected goals, but only got on the scoresheet once in the match. It would prove not to be enough to win, and it shakes up the playoff picture. As of this writing, Atlanta is tied on points with DC United and Orlando City for the 5,6 and 7 spots in the Eastern Conference.

Luiz Araujo scored Atlanta’s only goal in the 15th minute, but credit should go to the whole squad for the press that created this.

Instead of giving you our full player ratings now, we’ll get your reactions first. Below is a ratings form for you to fill out with how you rate each Atlanta United player’s performance. Feel free to head down to the comments section and leave your thoughts on the match as a whole or give your detailed explanation of your ratings.
