The Daily Dirt: FC Kansas City wins the NWSL championship

It's trophies two days in a row for Kansas City.

A day after Sporting Kansas City bagged a trophy, FC Kansas City did the same. The club won the NWSL championship, taking down the Seattle Reign, 1-0. Amy Rodriguez headed home the winning goal past Hope Solo in the 78th minute. It's the second year in a row that Seattle has finished the regular season at the top of the table, only to see Kansas City take home the championship.
